After having lost several loved ones to breast cancer and being in nursing, breast cancer awareness is something that is near and dear to my heart.  There are several websites out there that provide great information about breast cancer ranging from common causes all the way to cutting edge treatments.  If you are personally in the middle of a battle with breast cancer or even if you are simply close to someone that has breast cancer, finding information and a community of other people going through the same thing can be invaluable.  It is my hope that this list of 30 websites about breast cancer will serve as a great source of information and support for those that have breast cancer and their loved ones (including people that are pre-disposed to having breast cancer).

1. http://carolinemfr.blogspot.com/ – Caroline’s Breast Cancer Blog talks about her ordeal going through the disease. At first, Caroline had the wrong attitude. It was only in the end that she finally learned how to act during these hard times.
2. http://crazysexycancer.blogspot.com/ – This blog can be a source of hope for people dealing with cancer. Crazy Sexy Cancer talks about the blogger’s new outlook in life after discovering the incurable disease she has.
3. http://toddlerplanet.wordpress.com/ – Toddler Planet is a blog made by a mother and scientist having breast cancer. She talks about her daily life including the painful moments when and the enjoyable time when she spends time with loved ones.
4. http://deesfunkybanana.blogspot.com/ – Dee’s Journey is an amazing blog about the journey one person takes. Even though the cancer is terminal and would soon take her away, she still tries to enjoy and live life to the fullest for each day that comes.
5. http://www.discussingbreastcancer.com/ – When you need emotional support or just need to get as much information about breast cancer, you can always go to Discussing Breast Cancer. Getting diagnosed with this disease or loving someone who has it is very hard. You should get help navigating through the ordeal.
6. http://getrealaboutbreastcancer.blogspot.com/ – Get Real about Breast Cancer. This is how we all should be. This blog is just that, because the writer herself got diagnosed with the bilateral breast cancer. She tackles the issues about the subject, and adds her own opinion to the matters.
7. http://uniboobclub.blogspot.com/ – Uniboob Club is an encouraging blog that talks about the ramblings of one survivor. The blogger only has one breast left, since the other was lost to mastectomy. Still, this didn’t stop her from living and rocking the world.
8. http://breastcancer.about.com/ – About Breast Cancer is where you will learn the news that made the headlines regarding the subject. You can read all about the basics, symptoms, and treatments among others. That way, you can be prepared and get help soon.
9. http://breastcancerdocumentary.blogspot.com/ – Muriella’s Corner has articles on health and nutrition for breast cancer victims. There are also newsletters found here that talk on the latest cures of the disease.
10. http://2hands.blogspot.com/ – 2 hands details the journey of someone who has gone through all the hardships of dealing with breast cancer. The blogger writes everything that has made her laugh and cry from the start until the end. Now that she’s a survivor, she is still adapting to the world and talking about it.
11. http://cancernewsnetwork.blogspot.com/ – For news about cancer that will create awareness, Cancer News Network would be a good place to look at. You can read about the developments and research being done on cancer, so you are updated with these things.
12. http://reconstructthis.blogspot.com/ – Reconstruct This is the blog a breast cancer survivor started to talk about her life. Here, we can see the sufferings she has to go through because the disease has forced her to it. Still, there is a brighter side on things being tackled here.
13. http://teamtd.blogspot.com/ – Because blogs are probably the best way to update family and friends, Tracy started Team Tracy. This is how she tells her story on undergoing chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and her everyday life as a breast cancer victim.
14. http://www.aftercancernowwhat.com/ – After Cancer, Now What. This is what survivors ask and this is what one did answer. Currently, the blogger writes about the latest reports on breast cancer, and sometimes includes some humorous posts to keep things lighter.
15. http://trisha-breastcancerjourney.blogspot.com/ – For someone to get diagnosed with breast cancer, the world would surely fall apart for him. But what this victim did was writing about the life she had and the process she’s going through each day. This is her way to cope with the hardships.
16. http://www.3daymom.com/ – 3 Day Mom is a blog that supports breast cancer. Here, you can get a lot of information on different topics like finance, charity, and of course, cancer news. Although the topics vary, the goal is the same, which is to support breast cancer causes.
17. http://cancervisa.wordpress.com/ – Cancer Vixen is a blog someone with cancer should read. This is an inspirational blog where you can talk and interact with other victims. Also, there are survival guide so you know how to act while knowing you can very well die from the disease.
18. http://www.lorenza-pureenergy.blogspot.com/ – Pure Energy, a blog written by Lorenza Verdini, is the blogger’s way of sharing the beauty of life. Even though she is a victim of breast cancer herself, this didn’t stop her from having a positive view on life.
19. http://killerboob.wordpress.com/ – For someone to vent her rage on cancer, starting a blog is probably the best way to do it. Killer Boob was made by someone doing just that. It helped though, because now, she’s better and talks about things other than breast cancer.
20. http://www.suesboob.blogspot.com/ – Getting diagnosed with a high stage in breast cancer would be heartbreaking for everyone. Sue’s Boob Blog will help you get motivated and inspired to live. Susan herself puts her feelings into words by writing poetry and humorous posts.
21. http://theotherfootfell.blogspot.com/ – The Other Foot Fell is a blog made someone with a rare cancer. She was diagnosed with two different cases in one breast, all within one year. To help keep her sanity at bay, she has to talk about her feelings and she does, in this blog.
22. http://alli-lifeintransition.blogspot.com/ – Life in Transition talks about a person coping with cancer. The woman has no choice but to deal with the disease with a strong attitude, lest it consumes her. This blog is one of the ways she keeps things going despite the heartache.
23. http://dancingsoles.wordpress.com/ – Before, Donna Peach was diagnosed with breast cancer in her breast. After a few years, it spread to her spine. Although she now wears a brace in the back, this didn’t keep her from dancing through the sufferings she went through. Dancing Soles is her blog where she gains and gives support to others like her.
24. http://teamapril.blogspot.com/ – Team April’s Breast Cancer Blog is a recounting of what April went through since she had the disease. The journey was a tough one. She knows that and now offers inspiration to those who need the same support she longed for before.
25. http://laceupyourgloves.blogspot.com/ – After surviving the long ordeal of having breast cancer, this blogger thought all was better. However, the cancer came back and was worse. Lace Up Your Gloves is talks about her new quest to win life over cancer she had already fought with before.
26. http://www.foobbabe.blogspot.com/ – Through the Foob Babe blog, this cancer survivor is able to remember the hard times and share the thoughts she had at that time. The fears she had and the hope she felt can be read here, and it should be an inspiration to those undergoing the same things.
27. http://fabulous-boobies.blogspot.com/ – My Fabulous Boobies is started by an African-American woman who has breast cancer. You can read through the detailed journey she had while receiving treatment and learn from her strengths.
28. http://breastcancerfund.typepad.com/ – Not My Breast is an informational site about breast cancer. You can read news articles and know of the environmental causes of the disease. Also, fund raising events are listed here so you know how to help with the charities.
29. http://specificallyspeaking.wordpress.com/ – Specifically Speaking. This is the title of the blog that helps a cancer victim rant about his situation. As a victim, she wants to let out her frustration and make sense of the things going on around her ever since she was diagnosed. This is an emotion-filled blog that would touch your heart.
30. http://www.bodyhealthdebate.co.uk/blog – For a blog that’s complete with information about breast cancer, Body Health Debate is the place to be. Aside from breast cancer, other health issues are tackled here so you get an overall view on health and sickness.
